The MetaStock Data Conversion Command Line Utils are utilities to convert
from MetaStock binary data (MASTER and Fxxx.DAT) format to MetaStock ASCII
(8 Field) format and back.

Changes:
The (MASTER, Fxxx.DAT) input/output directory option was added. The
following formats are supported: SYMB,PER,YYYYMMDD,HH:MM:SS,O,H,L,C,V;
SYMB,PER,YYYYMMDD,HHMMSS,O,H,L,C,V; SYMB,I,YYYYMMDD,HH:MM:SS,O,H,L,C,V;
SYMB,I,YYYYMMDD,HHMMSS,O,H,L,C,V. If a data file already exists the
program supports replacing records. The file replacement policies are
separate from the record appending policies.

from MetaStock binary data (MASTER and Fxxx.DAT) format to MetaStock ASCII
(8 Field) format and back.

Changes:
asc2ms now supports a [--reverseOrder|-b] option. If this option is
enabled, the data is read from last line first. This option is useful for
converting Yahoo! price data, which is stored in a latest price first
format. asc2ms now also generates an EMASTER file along with MASTER. The
date field can now be specified on the command line.

performance drastically. This release has a new feature in asc2ms to
forcewrite the database if the files are locked. Performance tuning has
been done on the utils using Intel VTune Performance analyser.

The MetaStock Data Conversion Command Line Utils are utilities to convert
from MetaStock binary data (MASTER and Fxxx.DAT) format to MetaStock ASCII
(8 Field) format and back.

Changes:
asc2ms now supports the updateRecord option if recordFile exists. asc2ms
and ms2asc now support priority levels. Supported priority levels are
high, medium, and low. This feature is useful to reduce load on the system
when it's used to convert data in bulk, in batch mode. ms2asc now supports
purging of zero volume data, and a new option [--purgeZeroVol|-p] has been
introduced to achieve the same. ms2asc now supports selective price data
output.

About:
The MetaStock Data Conversion Command Line Utils are utilities to convert
from MetaStock binary data (MASTER and Fxxx.DAT) format to MetaStock ASCII
(8 Field) format and back.

Changes:
asc2ms has an option to create F*.DOP files. asc2ms with the traverse
folder option creates 0-9 folders apart from A-Z folders. It detects
duplicate records and tries to reuse these records for new price data
files. It has an option to create new price data files. If this option is
disabled, only existing price data files will be updated with new data.
