WordPress 2.0.3

About:
WordPress is a state-of-the-art, semantic, personal publishing platform
with a focus on aesthetics, Web standards, and usability. It was born out
of a desire for an elegant, well-architectured personal publishing system,
and is the official successor to b2/cafelog. While primarily geared towards
functioning as a Weblog, it is also a flexible CMS capable of managing many
types of Web sites. In addition to the basic Weblog functions, it also has
an integrated link manager (e.g. for blogrolls), XFN support, support for
"static" pages, Atom and RSS feeds for both content and comments, XML-RPC
blogging API support (Blogger, MetaWeblog, and Movable Type APIs), spam
blocking features, advanced cruft-free URL generation, a flexible theme
system, and an advanced plugin API.

Changes:
This is a bugfix and security release, and is a recommended upgrade. In
addition to an issue that was raised on Bugtraq a few days ago, several
security enhancements have been backported from the 2.1 development branch
to further enhance and protect your blog. This release includes performance
enhancements, Movable Type / Typepad importer fixes, Enclosure (podcasting)
fixes, and the aforementioned security enhancements (nonces).

it's the integrated, consolidated infrastructure of HP BladeSystem,
single-source accountability and solution support from HP Services in 160

WordPress 1.5.2
by Dougal Campbell (http://freshmeat.net/~emc3/)
Mon, Aug 15th 2005 07:23

Changes:
We’re happy to announce that a new version of WordPress is now available
for download. This set of improvements and security fixes is in line with
our commitment to maintaining an extremely stable 1.5 series. In addition
to fixing a number of bugs and adding requested enhancements for plugin
authors, this release also addresses all of the security issues that have
been circulating the past few days. This is a very straight-forward
upgrade, you just need to upload the new files over the old, but as always
the Codex is the best resource on upgrading.
