The Advanced Bash Scripting Guide is both a reference and a tutorial on
shell scripting. This comprehensive book (the equivalent of about 544
print pages) covers almost every aspect of shell scripting. It contains
265 profusely commented illustrative examples, and a number of tables.

Changes:
This release adds more example scripts, more discussion of "here
documents", discussion of the "dialog" tool, printable reference cards,
and a few bugfixes.

Changes:
Bugfixes in reference cards. A new reference card added, several example
scripts, and a small amount of new editorial material have been added.
There are various small changes and bugfixes in the text.

shell scripting. This comprehensive book (the equivalent of about 612
print pages) covers almost every aspect of shell scripting. It contains
300 profusely commented illustrative examples (including such goodies as
an anti-spammer script), and a number of tables. Not just a shell
scripting tutorial, this book also provides an introduction to basic
programming techniques, such as sorting and recursion. It is well suited
for either individual study or classroom use.

Changes:
Many bugfixes. Much more material and several example scripts have been
added. A few existing sample scripts have been cleaned up and enhanced.
This release is actually somewhere between a minor and a major update.

Many bugfixes and stylistic cleanups were done. Four new example scripts
were added. A new subsection on version 3.2 Bash update was added.
Explanations of certain difficult concepts were clarified. This is an
important update.
